We want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase from Opulent Fine Jewelry. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, we offer the following policy for returns and exchanges.
1. General Return/Exchange Period
- Timeline: You may return or exchange eligible items within 30 days from the original date of purchase (in-store) or the date of delivery (online orders).
- Proof of Purchase: All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the original sales receipt or proof of purchase.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a return or exchange, all items must meet the following criteria:
- Condition: Items must be in their original, unworn, unused condition. This includes being free of any scratches, damages, or alterations.
- Original Packaging: Items must be returned with all original packaging, including gift boxes, certificates of authenticity (especially for diamonds/gemstones), warranty cards, and appraisal documents.
- Security Tags: If the item was shipped with a non-removable security tag, this tag must still be attached and intact.
3. Non-Returnable/Final Sale Items
For quality, safety, and customization reasons, the following items are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Custom and Personalized Orders: Any item that has been engraved, specially commissioned, or custom-designed to the client’s specifications.
- Altered Items: Jewelry that has been resized, repaired, or altered by a jeweler other than Opulent Fine Jewelry.
- Special Order Watches: Watch models that were specially ordered and not part of our regular stock.
- Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable.
4. Process for Returns and Exchanges
A. In-Store Returns (Miami Location)
- Bring the eligible item and your original proof of purchase to our Miami showroom during business hours.
- Our associates will inspect the item to confirm it meets the eligibility requirements (Section 2).
- Upon approval, we will process your refund or exchange immediately.
B. Online/Shipped Returns
- Request a Return: Contact us at [Insert Email Address] or call us at [Insert Phone Number] to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
- Packaging: Securely package the item, including all original documentation and packaging.
- Shipping: You must ship the item back using a reliable carrier (e.g., FedEx, UPS) and select signature required. For your protection, you must fully insure the package for the total value of the item. Opulent Fine Jewelry is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment.
- Inspection & Processing: Once received, the item will be inspected. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original method of payment.
5. Refunds
- Method: Refunds will only be issued to the original form of payment used for the purchase.
- Timeframe: Credit card refunds may take up to one full billing cycle to appear on your statement.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs (see Section 4B).
6. Exchanges
If you are exchanging an item, the following applies:
Lower Value: If the new item has a lower value, a refund for the difference will be issued to your original form of payment.
Higher Value: If the new item has a higher value, you will be required to pay the difference.
